Our Rolled Products North America (RPNA) division is seeking to add a talented Bag House Mechanic to its team located at our Richmond, VA facility.

•Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with Aleris HSE standards and policies, all state and federal regulations, and company policies and procedures.
•Lead the installation, modification, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of environmental equipment such as bag house dust collectors, pump lift stations, lime silos, etc.
•Interpret manufacturer’s specifications, regulatory requirements, and written and verbal instructions.
•Perform required preventive/predictive maintenance on assigned equipment
•Conduct daily inspection routes, document deficiencies, and drive issues to resolution.
•Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize unscheduled downtime.
•Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
•Maintain accurate, legible and timely records by completing paperwork as required.
•Display initiative and complete tasks with a sense of urgency.
•Demonstrate a positive attitude and have the ability to work in a team environment.
•Provide support as required to the operation by performing other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
•High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
•Minimum of (1) year of industrial maintenance experience.
•Must be able to work rotating shifts, night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required by operational needs.
•Minimum of (2) years of experience and aptitude maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.
•Experience in operating shop equipment.
•Working knowledge of pneumatics.
