We serve a variety of end-use industries, including aerospace, automotive, defense, building and construction, transportation, packaging, and consumer goods.



    Aleris Rolled Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for its Southeastern Region. Aleris offers a broad range alloys and products to service Transportation, Building & Construction, Light Gauge, and OEM markets as well as Distribution channels in NA.


    The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activity within the Southeastern Region.  The professional is responsible for sales and account management for existing customers and new business/account development. The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for meeting/exceeding annual sales plan target commitments.  In this role, the professional will define sales and business development strategies and secure new business through account development and product line growth within the Southeastern region while maximizing account EBITDA contributions.

    Responsibilities Include

    • Develop and manage commercial relationships with existing and prospective customers.
    • Develop and implement an annual sales strategy, supportive of overall company business strategy, which successfully targets potential new customers and captures additional market share from competitors to maximize profits and sales.
    • Collect and record competitor and market intelligence as a result of sales activities and market
    • Monitor and consistently increase customer satisfaction as the face of Aleris.
    • Keep abreast of industry and market conditions and communicate information/recommendations to management.
    • Prepare detailed customer presentations for visitations.
    • Provide detailed account: call reports, contact information and quote opportunities within Aleris’ customer resource management system to support sales and marketing programs.
    • Compile monthly: sales forecasts by customer, and expenses for territory
    • Support assigned accounts by conducting training, attending trade shows, customer outings and open houses.
    • Service the Southeastern region cost effectively

    Required Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:


    • Associates degree required
    • 3+ years of distributor sales, manufacturer sales, or related preferably Aluminum industry experience
    • Willingness to travel 60-80% and capability of working autonomously and maintain a flexible travel schedule to meet customer demands.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
    • A proven closer with good working knowledge of transportation, building products industry, distribution channels
    • Ability to prioritize, balance and manage multiple business development efforts.
    • Excellent sales skills and customer resource management.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
    • Highest level of personal and professional integrity.
    • Excellent ability to analyze data to solve problems, understand technical issues and make effective decisions.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence others and impact change.
    • Self-motivated and aggressive in pursuing and achieving objectives.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
    • Preferred expertise in aluminum industry
